Our face cosmetics combine the power of nature with the precision of biotechnology, so that every step of care gives visible results, regardless of your skin type. With their help, you can easily set up a morning and evening routine. You will find gentle cleansing cosmetics, toner-essences, and face creams here - including a light SPF 50 for the day and a soothing night cream. It is everything you need to build a simple, pleasant, and effective face care routine.

Daily face skin care step by step

The best face care is the one that responds to your skin's needs. However, regardless of its individual needs, the basis of daily care is:

  • Cleansing - one- or two-step, removes makeup, sebum, and impurities (read more: Face - Cleansing).

  • Toning - restores comfort; modern toners function as a light water serum.

  • Active action - concentrated cosmetics selected for a specific purpose (e.g., regulating serum or reduction of discolorations).

  • Daily care - for the day, a light cream with SPF 50; for the night, a soothing-moisturizing formula (read more: Face - Care).

  • Complementary care - peeling and masks, 1-2 times a week, to strengthen the effects of daily care.

Now that you have the quick guide, let's expand on each step to make it easier to choose products for your skin.

Face cleansing - thorough but gentle. Choose gentle cleansing gels or wash oils with an emulsifier and physiological pH that do not disturb the hydrolipid barrier. Test two-step cleansing: first an oil that dissolves makeup and SPF, and then a gentle gel that washes the skin without drying it out.

Toning - in the past, toners were mainly used to "restore pH" after washing. Today, modern toners are full-fledged care cosmetics, often as active as a face serum. Our face toner Glow&Aww gives an immediate moisturizing and soothing effect, supports the hydrolipid barrier, and evens out the skin tone. It acts as a "primer" under the serum and cream, improving the absorption and adherence of subsequent layers. It is not just pH balancing, but real skin care.

Active action - serum, booster, or another concentrated cosmetic - is the answer to a specific care goal (sebum regulation, smoothing fine wrinkles) or enriching face care with specific active ingredients (e.g., retinol, acids). Thanks to them, you can easily target your entire face care routine. A well-chosen serum enhances the action of the cream and realistically improves skin condition.

Daily care, meaning a face cream for day and night. In the morning, a light moisturizing cream that contains an SPF 50 filter, like SPFennec. Apply it as the last step of your routine to maintain a healthy appearance and delay skin aging processes for longer. In the evening, reach for a moisturizing and soothing cream. Bow Wow Effect is a night cream that supports regeneration, brings relief, and improves skin comfort. It leaves the skin soft, elastic, and clearly more rested. Do not forget about the delicate eye area and lip care by choosing dedicated products.

Complementary care. A few times a week, it is worth adding a peeling to remove dead skin and smooth the skin. Additionally, reach for moisturizing, cleansing, or revitalizing masks that fight the first signs of aging - depending on your needs, they will help strengthen the effects of daily care.

Face care tailored to every skin type

At Söppö, we focus on thoughtful and multifunctional active ingredients with proven dermatological effects to support the care of every skin type: dry, combination, oily, sensitive, and mature. However, it is worth knowing your skin to better plan your routine. Below is a short guide, and for more, we invite you to read our post about skin types and subtypes.

Normal skin - balance and maintenance

  • Goal: maintaining comfort and radiance.

  • Routine: gentle cleansing, toner for hydration, face cream with SPF 50 filter for the day, and a soothing face cream for the night.

  • Active ingredients: Rhodiola rosea extract, sea water, betaine.

Dry skin - intensive hydration and barrier reconstruction

  • Symptoms: tightness, flaking, roughness, lack of radiance.

  • Routine: gentle cleansing + focus on moisturizing, nourishing, and strengthening the hydrolipid barrier (oil serums, creams with humectants and emollients). Once a week, treat yourself to comprehensive care, a gentle peeling and a rich mask - it will restore skin comfort and its glow.

  • Active ingredients: inulin, fucogel, betaine, vegetable oils, marshmallow extract, squalane.

Oily skin - sebum regulation without drying

  • Symptoms: excess sebum, visible pores and sebaceous glands, imperfections.

  • Routine: two-step face cleansing (first cleansing oil, then gel), normalizing and regulating toners or serums. Hydrating oily skin is just as important as dry skin - use light moisturizing creams with a non-greasy formula. Remember to peel regularly to remove excess dead skin.

  • Active ingredients: niacinamide, zinc PCA, salicylic acid, Tasmanian pepper extract, rosemary extract, white clay, ectoine, pre- and postbiotics, panthenol.

Combination skin - face care in zones

  • Symptoms: forehead and nose get oily (T-zone), cheeks are normal or dry.

  • Routine: gentle washing (focus on the T-zone), moisturizing toner, serum applied by zone (mattifying/regulating in the T-zone, nourishing on the cheeks), moisturizing face cream. You can use multi-masking, i.e., apply two different masks: a clay mask on oily parts (to narrow pores and cleanse) and a creamy moisturizing mask on dry areas.

  • Active ingredients: hyaluronic acid and vegetable oils on cheeks, niacinamide and gentle acids in the T-zone.

Skin subtypes - how to match face cosmetics?

Skin can be, for example, oily and dehydrated or combination and acne-prone at the same time - that is why the best face care is the one that considers more than one aspect and supports the skin's natural regeneration processes.

  • Dehydrated skin - manifests as a feeling of tightness and roughness, yet the skin can simultaneously become oily; in your routine, focus on intensive hydration and water retention - face care cosmetics rich in humectants (PGA acid, fucogel, inulin) and emollients that "lock in" moisture.

  • Acne-prone skin - in the care of acne-prone skin, the following work well: niacinamide, rosemary extract, Tasmanian pepper, gentle acids (e.g., salicylic), and pre- and postbiotics - active raw materials that regulate sebum, exhibit anti-inflammatory effects, and support the microbiome.

  • Couperose skin - soothing irritation and strengthening capillaries (ectoine, panthenol, caper extract, marshmallow), protection against external factors that intensify redness (Tasmanian pepper and Mexican giant hyssop extract). Avoid sudden temperature changes and aggressive exfoliation.

  • Sensitive and allergic skin - minimalistic compositions, no alcohol, artificial dyes, or intense fragrances. Barrier toners and creams with panthenol, ectoine, and plant ceramides work best. If you have delicate skin prone to allergies, test new products carefully.

  • Mature skin - manifests as dryness, loss of firmness and elasticity, and the appearance of wrinkles and discolorations. Care should be based on intensive hydration and strong antioxidants (vit. C and E), peptides, and conventional or plant retinoids. Consistent use of SPF during the day is a mandatory step for protection against photoaging and supporting natural skin regeneration processes.

Advantages of natural face care cosmetics

Natural face cosmetics are associated with understandable gentleness, proximity to nature, and concern for the environment - often rightly so. They contain ingredients of plant and mineral origin rich in bioactive substances; for example, plant oils strengthen the skin barrier, while herbal extracts intensively moisturize and soothe irritation, and many of them have anti-inflammatory effects.

At Söppö, however, we believe that true power lies in the combination of nature and science. That is why we combine plant raw materials with modern solutions: biotechnologically obtained humectants, stable forms of vitamins (e.g., C and E), soothing ectoine, or pre- and postbiotics supporting the microbiome. In the context of face care, cosmetics should be thoughtful: effective yet gentle - and that's exactly what we create. Such a "nature + science" duo provides what matters most: predictable effectiveness, high tolerance, and pleasure of use every day. Therefore, if you are looking for effective face care cosmetics, you will love us.

It is worth remembering that all cosmetics - natural and conventional - must meet the same rigorous safety standards. That is why we focus on transparent formulas and reasonable, active concentrations of ingredients. It is worth reaching for good cosmetics - regardless of whether they are 100% natural or conventional. The key is conscious reading of ingredients and observing your skin. Natural face care can bring great results.

Natural ingredients in face care that are worth using

The strength of natural cosmetics lies in their raw materials. It is worth getting to know the most effective ones:

  • Humectants - beet betaine, inulin, and fucogel - a polysaccharide with a strong moisturizing and smoothing effect, as well as hyaluronic acid, which occurs naturally in everyone's skin - these are substances that have the ability to attract and bind water in the epidermis, keeping the skin hydrated, firm, and elastic. These ingredients are well tolerated by every skin type.

  • Emollients - rosehip oil, borage oil, jojoba oil, shea butter, mango butter, squalane - soften, lubricate, and create a delicate protective film on the skin surface to prevent excessive water loss. Well-chosen emollients do not clog pores - e.g., jojoba oil, thanks to its structure similar to human sebum, regulates sebum secretion.

  • Antioxidants - vitamin C and vitamin E, Rhodiola rosea adaptogen, rosemary extract - protect the skin against oxidative stress and neutralize free radicals responsible for signs of skin aging.

  • Plant extracts - nature offers a wide range of extracts rich in bioactive compounds that comprehensively support skin condition, e.g., marshmallow extract (moisturizing and soothing), mulberry extract (brightening), caper extract (strengthening capillaries), and Tasmanian pepper extract, which cares for sensitive skin.

  • Natural acids and enzymes - help dissolve bonds between dead skin cells, facilitating their exfoliation. In natural cosmetics, you will find salicylic acid from willow bark, glycolic acid from sugar cane, AHA acids from fruits, and enzymes from papaya or pineapple, which improve smoothness, enhance natural radiance, and even out the skin tone.

As you can see, nature provides many valuable ingredients. The key is conscious care. Let's not be afraid to read ingredient lists and analyze active substances - the more we know about them, the better we can choose cosmetics for our needs.
